Joseph Keaney, O.D.

Dr. Joseph Keaney received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University in 2005. He then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, earning his Doctor of Optometry with clinical honors in 2010.

After graduation, Dr. Keaney returned to Northeast Ohio and practiced in a private clinic in Cleveland for four years. He returned to Columbus in 2015 and practiced in Gahanna, New Albany, and German Village. He joined Optique Family Vision Care in 2019.

Dr. Keaney is passionate about patient education. He provides full-scope optometry with an emphasis on preventive care.

Dr. Keaney is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Ohio Optometric Association. He serves as a board member of the Olentangy Rotary Club and volunteers throughout Delaware County. He mentors high school and college students interested in optometry and other medical fields. He lives in Powell with his wife, Jen, his sons Wyatt and Connor, and their dog, Archie. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on the Buckeyes and Cleveland sports teams.
